We had the pleasure of joining some 30 students from Bedok View Secondary School (BVSS) and 20 seniors at a two-day Design Thinking Workshop held at the Lucky Haven Senior Activity Centre. Organised by BVSS, the students explored our seniors’ perspectives on recycling through empathy fieldwork, and in turn gained invaluable insights into their strong values of prudence and frugality in everyday living.
It was truly heartwarming to see the meaningful exchanges during the workshop. Our seniors enjoyed the conversations just as much as the students did! We look forward to supporting more of such initiatives in the future, where the young and old can connect, learn, and grow together!
